Our Fees and how we charge

Because each document will be different, there are no standard fees. We have to work on a time basis.

Our Notaries have a minimum fee of £75.00, and overall the time it takes to attend to your needs is charged at the rate of £300.00 per hour. No VAT is chargeable.

The fees are based principally on the work involved in the transaction, including the legal obligation to write up a complete record after the transaction is completed. It can include making the appointment; travelling or waiting time; meeting with the client and any others involved; considering, preparing and working on papers; and correspondence including email. All letters and telephone calls may be charged on a time basis of 10 minutes (1/6th hour)

Clients may be charged for any unusual or extra expenses incurred including printing, bulk photocopying, overseas postage, overseas telephone and fax costs.
Fees may be increased to reflect particular complexity of a transaction, the urgency, and the use of special skills but you will be warned of this.

Additional fees may also be payable to third parties involved in checking and authenticating information, such as to an educational establishment for verifying the authenticity of educational certificates of people going to work abroad.
